Creative Hands At Work

 April 9, 2016

Come Saturday and MMIS, Mullana becomes the center of creativity, fun and joy. Saturday, in MMIS calendar has been scheduled for conducting various art and craft, cultural, literary and sports activities where the students get an opportunity to express and groom their innate skills.

This Saturday, the very first cycle of co-curricular activities of the session was held in the school. In the ‘Hand Print’ activity, the tender hearts of grades Infant, MI and MII made different designs and patterns with their little hands. The students of grade I and II expressed their creativity in the activity, ‘Making Trees with Crushed Paper’.

For the students of classes III-V, there was an inter-house competition on ‘Puppet Making’. The artistic taste, innovative ideas and fierce spirit of competition was clearly visible in the beautiful hand puppets made by the students. The students of Classes VI-VIII participated in the activity, ‘Making Village Scene Using Patterns’.

The excitement and enthusiasm displayed by the students in creating, designing and  making something new on their own was worth watching.
