Teenage is the right time to begin planning your career and that’s why MMIS has a dedicated Career and Guidance Cell so that the students don’t feel confused about the future. Choosing the right career is very important and significant part of growing up and it would be late if the students get career guidance after they pass out from the school. MMIS believes in starting nurturing their career aspirations and understanding what they want in life from the very beginning through expert counselors who spend time with the students in Career and Guidance Cell.
The world has become a global village and we are shrinking in terms of distance; thanks to technology. There is no dearth of study programs and career options in today’s digital world. In fact, more and more students are opting to study abroad for undergrad study programs. This again calls for proper guidance in teenage years.
Career Guidance Cell at MMIS also organizes various informative career-oriented sessions, panel discussions and Career Counselling Fairs.Experts from various fields are invited to conduct workshops regarding career choices mapped and aligned to the students’ passions, to fulfill their career goals. The school also invited Mr. Martin Radley to conduct a workshop for the Science students in the last session.
It is the success of our Career & Guidance Cell that our students of grade XI and XII went to attend Summer School Programs organized by various international universities – Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia being one of them. Our students and teachers have attended many webinars and workshops on “Careers of Future” organized by Maquarie University, Australia.
