We, at MMIS, believe that sports play an instrumental role in shaping up the personality and working on the fitness level of a student. That’s why the school has invested heavily in creating a world -class sports infrastructure employing expert coaches to impart training to the students in various games and sports. Students are given extensive training for football, skating, volleyball, basketball, swimming and cricket.
A huge indoor sports complex has been set up for training the students in Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Badminton etc and students are also trained in Martial Arts. Yoga is also a regular feature and the school team has been performing on all National Yoga Days.

North Indian students are very keen to play Cricket since childhood and it is one game, which offers ample opportunities to grow owing to the popularity of IPL where even domestic players get a chance to show their potential. That’s why MMIS lays emphasis on training its students in Cricket and has created a world-class infrastructure for the same that includes a huge cricket ground with natural and synthetic turf pitches that are flood-lit.
With an aim to encourage and nurture talented young cricketers of the region, M.M. Trust, the managing trust of the school took a giant leap in 2014 by signing an MOU with the country’s leading cricket academy, ‘Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence’. The Yuvraj Singh Cricket Academy has been providing world class coaching facilities and international exposure to young cricketers. The Academy is well-equipped with the latest technology and international facilities to train the students. We are one of the top schools of the region, which offer such encouragement in sports and capitalize on Mr. Yuvraj Singh’s acumen and expertise to sharpen the special cricketing skills of our students.
The school has given great facilities to the children who are keenly following Basket Ball. It is one of the most popular sports on campus. The school has 2 standard size 28x 15 m basket ball courts with synthetic turfs. The school sports staff often motivates the students to take up this game as it adds on to their height and fitness level.
Another favourite sports amongst the students, football enjoys the reputation of being widely played and most -watched sport in the world. The school promotes the sport by providing a huge football ground for practice matches and competitions.
The school has 2 fully- equipped, standard size, glass squash courts with wooden flooring. The students can be often spotted playing this interesting game during and after school hours.
It is important to inculcate the habit of staying fit and active from the very childhood.
