Baisakhi is a vibrant and peppy festival that is traditionally celebrated across the Northern India. It symbolizes the season of change, when the old is gone and the new and fresh emerges. Unfortunately, this year, the idea of harvest, new beginnings and celebrations might seem bittersweet, when the Covid19 mandates us to stay at home. However, we are never stopped by the obstacles, life through in our way. M.M.I.S, Mullana gave celebration of Baisakhi a whole new hue by conducting various activities for the students from their home.
We organised literary and cultural online activities from April 10 toApril 13. There was ‘Fashion Show’ for the tiny tots of Preschool to II,‘Poem Recitation, Singing and Dancing Activities’ for the students of Grades III toV.‘Self Composed Poem Recitation, Singing, Dancing, Declamation and Calligraphy Activities’were conducted for the students of Grades VI to VIII.
The students showed great enthusiasm and excitement by participating in most of these activities. The Principal, Mrs. Sunita Dosaj appreciated the students’ initiative and encouraged them to come up brilliantly with their creativity and ingenuity.
